Eighty percent (80%) of a building's operational costs are attributed to three things: people, equipment maintenance, and energy consumption. Flywheel provides building engineers and portfolio managers with insight into these key areas to drive operational efficiency.
Building Automation Systems found in every large building contain mountains of data that can be ingested by Flywheel and monitored intelligently to identify when equipment begins to drift out of normal operating conditions. Addressing the drift can not only reduce operational costs but can also be an early warning sign of equipment failure.
Most buildings have a team of engineers working to maintain hundreds or even thousands of pieces of equipment on a regular basis. Staying on top of everything requires a fast, smart task queue that supports the way dispatchers and engineers work.
Because task management is a key feature of the Flywheel platform, field research was performed with customers at three hospitality locations: Hyatt Dallas, Wild Dunes Resort, and Red Hawk Casino. The following personas were created after interviewing and observing the daily work of these individuals.
